On April 28, 2020, the Secretary of the National Investment Council Levan Varshalomidze took part in the online forum "TAVRIAN ONLINE HORIZONS", organized by the Kherson Regional State Administration and the Kherson Regional Council.

Levan Varshalomidze, Secretary of the National Investment Council noted that the crisis is a chance and an opportunity: “Ukraine has a huge investment potential and together we must use this crisis in our favor.  Everything is in our hands. We have the support of international financial organizations; we are in the view of large international corporations. Even in the last three weeks, interest to Ukraine is very high. The National Investment Council will do everything possible to not to miss this chance and we have many like-minded people. I am sure that we will succeed."

Levan Varshalomidze also stressed that the National Investment Council will support any ideas and projects aimed at attracting investments to Ukraine: “Offer even the craziest ideas! What may seem crazy today may be the key to success tomorrow. There is a stereotype that only certain sectors of the economy can be developed in Ukraine, but we need to look wider. ”

The Secretary of the National Investment Council noted that Ukraine should transform from an exporting country into a producing country, and the National Investment Council is interested in developing and supporting various industries.

“For us, the most important value of investments is not in their amounts and quantity, but in the creation of new jobs. And we will promote and protect every business that creates new jobs in Ukraine,” Levan Varshalomidze emphasized.
